In 2022, the Pullman Toulouse Center Ramblas obtained the "Clef Verte" label

Hôtel Labelisé Clef Verte Developed in France since 1998, the "Clef Verte" label is, by the number of labeled establishments and by its anteriority, the first eco-label for tourist establishments in France.

It guarantees that our hotel implements an environmental policy, a socially responsible approach, intelligent waste management (reduction at source, collection and recycling), control of energy and water consumption, responsible purchasing (in particular for food and maintenance) and active customer awareness.

The labeling process provides for regular audits and the collection of evidence to attest to the seriousness of our hotel's approach.

IN 2018, THE PULLMAN TOULOUSE CENTER RAMBLAS ADDED 2 NEW PILLARS TO ITS GLOBAL STRATEGY.

    The “mirror effect” principle: all services, innovations and initiatives made available to our customers must also be offered to our employees.

    Respect for the environment at the heart of all our actions, innovations, products and services.

From these two new pillars was born our Environmental Committee. This group, led by all hotel team members, strives to create partnerships, find resources, innovate and set up small or large-scale projects in favor of the environment. Our actions revolve around 3 major axis:

RECYCLING

Early 2019, the hotel, under the supervision of its environment committee, strengthened its waste recycling policy:

By signing a partnership with Greenburo, we have managed to recycle almost all of the paper and cardboard used in the hotel. We only use recycled paper and of course, we print on both sides and by default, in black and white!

Cler Verts, a company located south of Toulouse, supports us in recycling our organic waste. Your leftovers and unsold products are turned into fertilizer while the methane produced during processing is used to generate energy.

We also managed to recycle 549 kilos of coffee capsules. The aluminum recovered in the process was transformed into 36 600 soda cans. The 502 kilograms of used coffee beans were transformed into biogas and agricultural compost.

Planet 21

We actively participate in the Planet 21 program initiated by the Accor group:

In 2019 the Pullman Toulouse Center Ramblas, with the help of its clients, planted 4,187 trees as part of the “Plant for the Planet” initiative.

For the past 3 years, we have been cooperating with “Too good to go”, an app created to limit food waste. In this same context, we have recently chosen to eliminate individual containers for our customers as well as for our teams: salt, pepper, mustard or ketchup from the canteen or restaurant, jams for breakfast.

Our restaurant menu, the South West Bistrot, offers a large majority of local products and all our fruits and vegetables are organically grown.

INITIATIVES OF THE PULLMAN TOULOUSE CENTER RAMBLAS

  • AS OF 2019, WE HAVE DECIDED TO MINIMIZE PLASTIC USAGE IN OUR POINTS OF SALE:

    • All in-room garbage bags have been replaced by cornstarch containers.
    • Plastic covers protecting dry-cleaned laundry have been removed.
    • We have also partnered with Castalie to replace plastic bottles distributed in our meeting spaces by glass containers filled with still or sparkling filtered water.
    • Pens and notepads offered in these same meeting rooms are also recyclable.
    • Straws, stirrers, cups, and paper towels available in the hotel are all made of recyclable and materials.
  • INNOVATION AT THE HEART OF OUR PRIORITIES:

    • Dans la continuité de nos engagement éco-responsable, nous avons sélectionné L’entreprise WIFIRST pour un Numérique responsable.

      Leur empreinte carbone 2020 représente ainsi 4 033 tCO2e avec une intensité carbone 4 fois moins élevée que la moyenne dans le secteur des télécommunications (source : ADEME).

      Les chiffres produits par le cabinet indépendant Virtus management viennent alimenter le travail continu de transparence et d’exemplarité. Ils viennent également confirmer la pertinence du modèle de WiFi as a Service dans leurs stratégie climat.

HYGIENE AND CLEANLINESS

Even before the arrival of Corona virus, the Pullman Toulouse Center Ramblas has always demonstrated an impeccable sanitary quality: water checks carried out by the SGS Company, food audits in partnership with Diversey, in room bacteriological tests with Silliker Mèrieux laboratory. The level of cleanliness of common areas and rooms is highly praised by our customers. We are proud of our chamber maids and housekeepers who perform an outstanding job.

FROM MARCH 2020

We have further strengthened our procedures to deal with the pandemic and to comply 100% with government directives. The main measures that allow us to welcome our customers and our teams in complete safety are as follows:

  • Aquama
    As "strengthening hygiene standards" had to go hand in hand with "respect for the environment", we chose to disinfect our spaces and all points of contact with the Aquama solution.

    A double advantage for our customers and our teams: their solution effectively cleans all surfaces, from bedroom to kitchen, while respecting the environment and your skin 100%.
